I know going to bed early can be annoying and sometimes scary for a spiritual person, but it is truly amazing how you wake up feeling after a full seven or eight hours of sleep. To most healers, a full night’s sleep doesn’t seem very important and fruitful, however, note that it plays a very big role in many aspects of your spiritual life. Having a good night's sleep improves your mental health, and physical health, and your healing capacity.
Since I started getting six to eight hours of sleep every night, I noticed that I’m more focused on my healing work, my family and my relationship. I start my day with a prayer at around 4:30 in the morning. I work out simple body exercises for about an hour in the river, and after I go home, take a bath, and prepare a spiritual breakfast. After eating, I prepare and then relax for about 5 to 10 minutes before I leave for my spiritual practice. Healing the sick can be mentally draining, and this routine has helped me so much. Having this time in the morning is so refreshing for me and is now a very important routine for my day. It gives me time to clear my mind, put myself first, and focus more on my practice.
Life can get very busy and harsh with spiritual work, family, relationships, and sometimes we find it hard to put ourselves first. Getting at least 6 to 8 hours of sleep and having an early morning to yourself can assure you that you get the care you need mentally and physically.

With hot weather conditions nowadays, you must rest and take care of your mind and body so you can perform well in your practices. Enough sleep improves your brain function and lowers your stress levels. Don't get confused, I’m not saying all of your worries will disappear with enough sleep, but I am saying that it can help you process your problems a little better and make your practice a little easier.
With all of that being said, I suggest you should consider putting your phone down and going to sleep early. I promise you will feel much better and excel in your spiritual gift.
Amen.
