URGENT: Police Launch Investigation After Sebokeng Teenager Disappears in Kanana Park

SEBOKENG – Police in Sebokeng are appealing to the community for urgent assistance in locating 16-year-old Buhle Radebe, who has been missing since early May.
According to Sebokeng police spokesperson, Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane, Buhle allegedly left her home on 09 May 2026 to visit a friend within the same precinct but failed to return.

The Search Begins
The alarm was officially raised on 13 May 2026 when Buhle’s mother began a search for her daughter. Initially, the family did not suspect foul play, as the teenager was known to stay away from home occasionally.
However, a visit to the friend's residence revealed concerning details. The friend informed the mother that Buhle was last seen at Kanana Park. Furthermore, it was reported that Buhle expressed a fear of returning home and was in the company of another female who was also reluctant to return to her own residence.

The Sebokeng SAPS is urging anyone with information regarding Buhle Radebe’s whereabouts to come forward. Community members who may have spotted her at Kanana Park or in the surrounding Sebokeng area are encouraged to contact their local police station immediately.
