FINAL FAREWELL: Grieving Family of Nova Sa Style Asks for Public Donations to Bury the Lekompo Star

MAHWELERENG – The family of the late Lekompo musician, Mpho Eric Ngoepe, widely known by his stage name Nova Sa Style, is reaching out to the public for financial assistance to give the star a dignified burial.
The 26-year-old artist tragically lost his life in a car accident on the R37 road in the Sekhukhune District on Saturday, 9 May. It is reported that he was traveling to a performance in Lydenburg, Mpumalanga, when the fatal crash occurred.

"Our Breadwinner is Gone"
Nova’s mother, Dikeledi Ngoepe, shared the family's heartbreak and financial struggle, noting that Mpho was the primary provider for the household. "Mpho was a breadwinner at home and his passing has left the family not only heartbroken but financially strained," she said.
The family is appealing for donations in the form of cash or essential services, including catering, transport, and decor, to help organize the final send-off for the "Lerato le fedile" hitmaker.
Memorial and Funeral Details
A memorial service will be held at Mahwelereng Stadium to honor his contribution to the music industry. The funeral is scheduled to take place this coming Saturday at the same venue.
While there are unconfirmed reports that fellow Lekompo star Ba Bethe Gashoazen was also injured in the crash, the focus remains on supporting the Ngoepe family during this dark time.
