KEMPTON PARK – Infamous convicted murderer Rosemary Ndlovu and her co-accused, Nomsa Mudau, made a high-profile appearance at the Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.

The two friends are facing charges of conspiracy to commit murder. It is alleged that they plotted to kill Nomsa's husband, Justice Mudau, by hiring a hitman to execute the crime.

The Hitman Who Spoke Out

The state’s case rests on the startling revelation that the hired hitman did not carry out the attack. Instead, he approached the intended victim, Justice Mudau, to warn him. He allegedly revealed that his own wife and Ndlovu had commissioned the hit.

Speaking to the media outside the court, a shaken Justice Mudau shared that the hitman was reportedly promised a sum of R150,000 to take his life.

Ndlovu's History of Violence

Rosemary Ndlovu is already a household name in South Africa’s criminal history. The former police officer is currently serving multiple life sentences for the murders of several family members and her boyfriend, a spree she carried out to collect insurance payouts.

The current conspiracy case has been adjourned until May 20, 2026, as the legal process continues.

"Justice Mudau says he is lucky to be alive, thanking the man who was supposed to kill him for choosing to tell the truth instead."
