JOHANNESBURG – Three women are currently in police custody following a brazen robbery in the Johannesburg city center where another woman was targeted and stripped of her cash.
According to official police reports, the suspects allegedly worked in coordination to overpower their victim. The victim recounted a terrifying ordeal where two of the women physically restrained her, preventing any chance of escape, while the third suspect searched her and forcibly took R2,460 in cash.

Swift Arrest and Recovery
The incident was quickly reported to authorities, leading to a rapid response by local officers. Police successfully tracked down the suspects and, during a subsequent search, recovered the stolen R2,460 from one of the women.
The three suspects are currently being held at the Johannesburg Central Police Station as formal charges are processed.
